Help For Teething
When a baby is cutting those first teeth, hand them a cold mozzarella cheese stick in the plastic package. It is cold on their gums and has a very satisfying texture. Later, when they have cut more teeth and are able to puncture the plastic, the cheese inside is a treat!

Waterless Hand Cleaning
Since clean hands are very important around infants, I have found the new waterless antibacterial hand cleaners to be invaluable to have around, especially near the changing table. This can also save a trip to the sink during feedings and diaper changes during the night!

Protection Against Face Chapping
If baby has a chapped nose, Lansinoh makes a great protector. Soften a teeny amount between your fingers and apply to baby’s face. There’s no smell and it doesn’t smear/stain like Vaseline and/or A&D ointment. It is safe and pure enough for a newborn.

Slip Proof Pajamas
My son began walking at 10 months, wearing pajamas in sizes 9 to 12 months without grippy bottoms on the feet. With our hardwood floors there were many evening mishaps which were upsetting for everyone. After one too many falls I considered cutting the feet out of the pajamas, but with our cold winter weather I decided I wanted a better solution. So, I bought a bottle of puffy fabric paint and decorated the bottoms of the pajama feet with it. Now he can run around the house without slipping.
